Just curious: what (class of) metadata is missing

I'm running split-root on multiple distros since Solaris 10. Yes it does need
special setup (documented on Wiki) for dependencies of ksh on OI and OmniOS, so
they would all be in /sbin and /lib, and I do that bit manually - but I believe
it can be done in IPS by putting those files to different paths (recipe issue,
not engine/format issue, AFAIU). The pkg update's mostly don't care, there's
little change in those bits. Then again, these systems are managed by my
scripts for split-root mounting and upgrade support, which call on standard OS
tools in a specially orchestrated manner.

Thanks in advance,
Jim
