I am not familiar with your hardware.

One suggestion is to check your BIOS settings to see if there is firmware
protection against unattended booting or reset.

(I have an old dual CPU hardware network server stored in my attic that has
a physical switch on an internal card intended to help protect the server
from attack so it stays up and running.)
