Did you ever figure this out?
I have a similar board (an ASRock Rack X570D4U-2L2T) and I haven’t been able to
get IPMI to work either:
# pkg install ipmi
# modload /usr/kernel/drv/amd64/ipmi
<no output>
# modinfo | grep -i ipmi
262 fffffffff8207000 27f8 287 1 ipmi (ipmi driver)
# pkg install ipmitool
# ipmitool
Could not open device at /dev/ipmi0 or /dev/ipmi/0 \
or /dev/ipmidev/0: No such file or directory
After reboot, neither `dmesg` nor `smbios` show anything “ipmi” related.
Thoughts?
K.
