Ugh.  A bit surprising as the majority of that STH page is praising the board’s 
IPMI interface, at least it’s HTML5-based interface, that can mount images of 
the network and what not.  I guess ASRock put so much focus into the 
web-interface that they forget about the BMC interface?

I can’t find any info on ACPI being supported, how did you come to determine 
that?

This works, though it consumes a port in my switch.   I’d hoped to avoid it, 
but perhaps it’s time to bite the bullet   ;)
