Depends on my mood and how much concentration is required. If I'm
thinking hard, I prefer music that is more background-like or
atmospheric -- something I won't be distracted by. If I'm pumping
out screens then I like music that entertains and motivates me while
I monkey away. E.g., something I can sing in my head to or tap my leg
to.

I recently merged my laptop and desktop iTunes libraries and squeezed
all of the music onto a 250GB Passport drive. I'm loving life right
now because I have so much music to match my varying moods at my
fingertips.
