JOB DESCRIPTION: Are you skilled in developing rapid prototypes of user experiences? Can you think conceptually as well as practically about new and better ways that that software can help people in their daily lives. Intuit has an exceptional opportunity for a designer/prototyper to work with a team developing next generation products within the Small Business Division at Intuit. We are looking for someone who is collaborative and who can not only think in innovative ways about the changing nature of starting and running small businesses, but who can translate these ideas into compelling prototypes that can serve as objects of analysis and be tested with people in real-world contexts. Ideal candidate will: -be intrigued with the possibility of designing new tools for helping people create and manage small business -have a solid design background, with an emphasis on interaction design -be able to create rapid "behavioral" prototypes in using a variety of authoring tools -- especially Actionscript and Flex. -be able to serve as a bridge between the user experience design team and the engineering team in terms of defining design principles and standards -be able to communicate his or her ideas clearly and effectively Qualifications : Requirements and Qualifications: -Graduate and/or undergraduate degree in interaction and visual design -Familiarity with basic economic concepts as pertains to small business -Seven or more years total industry experience -Five plus years application product experience with an emphasis on rapid behavioral prototyping.
