think I need therapy now.

I think, as Danny pointed out, it's a good example of how usability
principles can be ignored -- or I'd say don't even apply -- in a
game-like exploratory experience. 

Part of the fun is figuring out what the heck is going on in the
first place. Though, if it weren't for the on-screen instructions, I
think I'd be pretty lost :)
