Here's a quick example of something you would want to avoid that I see on many sites but that can be seen on EMC's career portal.
The locations list box is very small and lists many, many locations. This is one issue as it is hard to mult-select within such a small area. The other big issue is that US- is not an option. So, if your company has numerous locations within a state and a candidate wants to search for a job in all of those locations, it is much easier to select US- than to have to multi-select each city within that state. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
