Something to remember: Some of these were also SAGE Short Topics, back in the day. It might be good to review those as potential topics to expand into white papers.
Documentation Budgeting (I think logging was already done, as well.) etc. One aspect might be updating these short topics for more recent hardware, etc. Another thing to discuss is white papers for implementing ITIL best practices. For example, how to interface with or implement a CMDB using information already available (pulling from AD, LDAP, NIS, registry, flat files, etc.). In fact, there are already bodies of IT knowledge out there. It's probably good to brainstorm and review those so that we don't overlap and especially don't contradict (at least not initially). --Aaron On Tue, Jan 18, 2011 at 09:43, Mark McCullough <mmc...@earthlink.net> wrote: > The two I'm most interested in are: > Logging systems > Authentication > > Maybe I'll try to write up a first draft this weekend on logging (the one I'm > much more familiar with and involved in).
