Yup. Adding insult to injury, this was a unique host so I couldn't grab /bin from somewhere else and I'd never had need to recover stuff from tape. Thankfully at some point one of the operators had showed me how to load a reel to reel tape and where the stored them. Oh, and my $HOME was local to the host, some long running jobs were writing to $HOME over nfs, it was around midnight when I found out, and I had a meeting with my thesis advisor in the morning... _______________________________________________ Discuss mailing list [email protected] https://lists.lopsa.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/discuss This list provided by the League of Professional System Administrators http://lopsa.org/
