Morning all,

I was recently sent to a client site for full time onsite support. One of
the projects is getting a proper asset management system in place.

The client doesn't have the hardware to run it on their server. It will
most likely be running from my machine and manually updated. It's not a
huge issues as there are less than 20 people in the office (around 100
'assets').

Must haves:
Free (FOSS, shareware, etc.)
Client side (not web based)
Windows compatible
Small footprint (doesn't include unnecessary features, extra features may
be available through plugins, etc).

Unnecessary (but not verboten):
Network polling

Does anybody have any suggestions? Things Spiceworks is more of an
administration portal and is too cumbersome for the task at hand. We have
monitoring in place for servers and critical services already. Hopefully I
can find a piece of software that is strictly does asset management.

Thanks in advance,
Evan
