Replying to my own e-mail. Ogio customer service is also SUPER awesome. I happened to have had an older messenger bag with a badly designed strap. While I was visiting SLC, UT a couple years ago I realized I kept driving by their HQ. One day I stopped by and asked to speak to someone about it. I ended up meeting with one of their design staff, who was like "what model? Oh, that one, yeah, we know, here..." and hands me a replacement strap from the next-gen satchel, with a much better design.
