I've had one of their FreeNAS mini systems for several years now and have zero complaints. I found customer service to be responsive and polite when I've contacted them about s/w support questions.
I *did* make the initial contact when they were reaching out to the LOPSA community. Can't say anything about their sales area today. I like the technical depth of iXSystems, and feel good about supporting FreeBSD and ZFS.
