Perhaps someone already mentioned, this, but taking the keyboard off the
laptop is probably fairly straightforward, and that can be cleaned
separately in the dishwasher.
I would not put the display through the dishwasher, as the various
layers of material used to distribute the backlight would be VERY hard
to get to dry out, and the hard drives sometimes have breather vents
that lead to the platters.
