We are using Park Place Technologies for some of our older arrays for hardware
only and have been very happy with them.

Subject: [lopsa-discuss] EMC VNX Third Party Support

Hi,

My two VNX devices are coming up on their renewals so I am looking at all my
options. I have maintenance estimates and new hardware estimates from EMC
along with estimates to replace them with a system from a different vendor.
Now I need to delve into 3rd party support options for the VNX's. Questions
are:

* Have you ever used 3rd party support and if so who and how was it?

* Does the support cover hardware and software (e.g. software upgrades)?

* What kinds of questions should I be asking of the providers?

cheers,

ski
