JPEG2K supports lossless via a reversible wavelet transform with integral 
coefficients (which make it reversible, and so lossless). Here is a reference:

Can you point me to any studies to support the claim that JPEG2000 can indeed 
be indeed non-lossy?


I've seen the claims over the years, but nothing to support it (not that I've 
actively gone looking for the info, as I haven't had the need).
