Interesting to see that according to this mail FOSS4G-Europe is now "being
part of OSGeo's own conference series, FOSS4G". Is that also true for
FOSS4G-NA, or others?

Seriously, I would advise the OSGEO Board to spend some quality time in
upcoming meetings to determine a strategy on "OSGeo's own conference
series". At the moment it seems the 'brand' is slipping away from OSGEO's
grip. Maybe we/you do not see this as a problem, or think it is inevitable
or even desirable, but it would be good if at least it was a conscious
decision in some way...
