If somebody has complains, probably it's because he hasn't ever been
on a similar position and doesn't understand how difficult it is to
please everybody and still keep the goals of the association. If
someone think they can do better, instead of sending private emails,
they should say publicly how they would do it and make a proposal for
the next board elections.
Really, a community works like this. This is not a dictatorship: *we*
are OSGeo. We decide how things are done. We are always open to
discussions, create working teams or whatever is needed to push our
goals further. Sending private emails never helps. Specially if they
are not constructive.
