So it seems that we need an annual financial report, and we need to have a
clear idea of what we want to use the money for. "Ongoing operational
costs" is not applicable; but improvements are. We need to very strongly
describe our community involvement and what we give back to the
membership/community.

I think that with some planning we could put together a persuasive
application package, if we have some members committed to working through
this. Who is willing to meet about this next Tuesday, after the meeting, at
the boardroom table? I'm proposing we go through the checklist and see what
we need.

Jay, do we have an annual financial statement? Would you be able to draft
one up for us?
