I've heard rumblings that the "official" toolkit for console owners is
going to be Unity with some perks for Kinect and SmartGlass.  If that ends
up being the case (and isn't gated too hard), it could give MS an edge.
 Not much of one, but just in terms of lowering barriers for development.
 It's partially why I got my ass in gear and started getting interested in
Unity once and for all.
