As some of you may know, a few SkullSpace members are working on
designing/creating a second arcade machine for SkullSpace which would be a
more compact tabletop version, with my role being setting up the
emulation/control system to manage the various gaming consoles.

I've been quite successful in being able to emulate a number of systems,
which I will show below. ***I would like to know if any members have any
specific consoles that they would like to see emulated, that are not on the
list of currently emulated systems.***

Specific question for Mark Jenkins or anyone else familiar with HDD space
in the SkSp main computer: What is the size of that HDD reserved for this
project? Current project size is a little less than 450 GB, inclusion of
Nintendo GameCube would require an additional 675 GB

Apart from Nate and Mike Loney, would anybody else like to be included in
the taskforce for this project? We could use help with building the
cabinet, assembling hardware and assembling some funds. Please join us! :)

Systems List:

Won't implement:
- Any systems requiring full use of keyboard (this rules out almost all old
home computer systems, sorry)
- Any systems newer than Sega Dreamcast. This includes Playstation series,
Xbox series, Wii series, Nintendo DS, PSP series, etc etc. However, there
is a possibility to include Nintendo GameCube, providing there is an
additional 675 GB of HDD space available on SkSp hardware

List of working emulated systems and status notes:

Nintendo Famicom - emulation not yet perfect (laggy)
Philips VG 5000 - emulation working but no controls. Almost all games are
in French. Might drop from project.

Sega Dreamcast - waiting to build ratio to download torrent of fixed roms;
emulation will work once this stage is complete
Sega SG-1000 - not working
Tiger Game.com - not working
VTech CreatiVision - emulation working but no controls

Some of the systems not yet working correctly may not be worth the hassle
to troubleshoot. However, I will guarantee Famicom, Sega CD, Sega Dreamcast
and possibly SG-1000 will eventually be included. As for the other systems
not yet working, if there's a specific system you really want to see
included, please let me know and I will continue to troubleshoot.

Thanks for your input on this project!
