I just tried the 6.0a1 build on my LinkStation and got the following error at
the command line:

I've got Perl 5.8.5 on the LinkStation and used the .tar.gz SlimServer
download. FWIW, SlimServer 5.4 runs fine on this LinkStation. Is there
something additional I need to install for 6.0?
Mark - we don't have any binary modules for perl 5.8.5 on the LinkStation,
as
that's not what it ships with by default.
The modules you'll need to get it running are:
Compress-Zlib-1.33
DBI-1.46
DBD-SQLite-1.07
HTML-Parser-3.45
And optionally:
Template-2.13
XML-Parser-2.34
