Josh Coalson tested SB2 FLAC support (http://flac.sourceforge.net/links.html#review_squeezebox2) and was able to play back 24-bit 48KHz tracks. We currently do not support (either directly or with transcoding) 96KHz tracks. If you're having problems with the former, please file a bug at http://bugs.slimdevices.com and attach an example.
