Thanks for the help - changing slimserver.exe and slim.exe to inbound
from outbound and a reboot of my PC did the trick.  I just had one
question - was I supposed to change both slimserver.exe and slim.exe to
inbound or just slimserver.exe.

I think its just slim.exe, but having both won't matter.

If you open a cmd window and type "netstat -b" it will tell you which programs 
are communicating and on which sockets.
