In this case you had the unfortunate effect of it becoming a hidden directory, but there are other characters you could never even use (eg, * $ : \ / |), and the reserved character that is encountered most often in album and song titles: ?.
Most ripping tools deal with these things automatically, substituting more-or-less satisfactory valid characters for reserved characters. Did you create the "...Something to Be" directory manually or with a ripper? Or did you rip on one OS (eg, Windows) and then move it to your Linux system? -- aubuti LinkStation HD-HG (debian) feeding: *Basement:* SB2 > JVC JA-S44 > ESS Tempest LS8; *Kitchen/Dining:* SB Duet > AudioSource Amp100 > 2 pairs Polk RC60i; *Living room:* SB3 > Technics SA-EX140 > Bose Acoustimass 3; *Bedroom:* SB Boom + SBC; *Study:* SB Duet > Klipsch ProMedia 2.0; *Kid's bedroom:* SB2 > Klipsch ProMedia 2.0 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ aubuti's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2074 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=53062 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
