Anyone managed to get AAC Plus streams playing through Slimserver on a Mac?
I looked at the wiki entry... http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.php/AACplus I'm using Mac OSX 10.5.5, Slimserver 6.5.1, Squeezebox 3. The wiki says I must have mplayer of at least 1.0pre8. It says at Step 1, for Macintosh, "download the GUI version". I've no idea what that is. At the linked site, mplayerhq, the Mac version offered appears to be 1.0rc2, which I suspect is the one I already have in order to use AlienBBC, and which, says the wiki, won't play AAC plus. Any idea, chaps?
