There was a time when I subscribed to the prevailing "Microsoft is the evil empire" dogma. With the whole iTunes/iPod suite, and the related DRM debacle, I've seen the light, or rather the dark. It's Apple that is the evil empire.
I won't buy an iPod. I won't buy music from Apple, except in the iTunes Plus format (no DRM, better rip quality). I'll get my digital files from other (legal) sources whenever possible, CD if necessary. Voila, no icky Apple problems with art or otherwise.
