I don't use any of my Squeezeboxen as an alarm. I don't use SqueezeNetwork. I leave all my Squeezeboxen powered up when I shut down my PC.
When SqueezeCenter is shut down my SBB displays the time. When SqueezeCenter is shut down my SB3 displays a blank screen. Is this a firmware difference, or is there a setting somewhere to make the SB3 display something when powered up, but not connected to SqueezeCenter? (This is not a 'Brightness when off' problem).
