I believe the big retailers like Best Buy in the US and Comet in the UK operate the same way as large supermarkets. Their whole cabling section is actually managed by the brand leader, in this case Monster. It's them who decide what products are displayed and how. Monster probably don't even charge the store to stock the cables up front so the stock remains Monsters until it is sold. In very large stores there might even be a company rep stationed there to look after stock and "give demos" etc.
So this isn't going to change any time soon, they are too entrenched with the large chains. -- funkstar ------------------------------------------------------------------------ funkstar's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2335 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=55787 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
