Pippin: Just got an iPod Touch 2g 8gb for the sole purpose of using it as a SC controller. My first bit of testing tells me it was the right thing to do. Its a bit small but I think I can get used to that. Performance is great but I only have 400+ albums.
I did discover a small bug with the playlist sorting. If you delete items or move items it leaves gaps (I suspect that is the intent of the UI). I would think it better to gray out the items so they could be turned on again but that is another topic. I did find though that the gaps stay around, even when I clear the playlist. So if I go add another album later, it has gaps in it.
