I know what ReplayGain is but haven't progressed using it much. I did, however, find that when I first starting using my Duet my mp3's previously managed in iTunes had replaygain (Soundcheck as mentioned above) added into the tags, I found that this was making most songs significantly quieter so I turned off ReplayGain in SC.
