FYI, that is a difference between the SB3 remote and the SB Boom remote. The SB Boom remote cannot repeat button presses the same way the old remote did. Therefore, pressing and holding ADD does not work.
In that case, you need to time your pressing ADD with the Logitech logo appearing on the display. That will successfully reset the device to factory defaults. -- Devans . . Daniel Evans .
