Hmm I think that drag and drop between left and right pane is one of the things thats is down right impossible in a web based interface. Maybe the playlist editor could be some kind of (shudder) Java application. That would make it cross platform and it could load on every computer browsing SC not only the one that has SC installed. But as you say it should not be overcomplicated for that we have tons off other apps that we could export playlist from. My playlist needs are simple as I'm a typical album listener in most cases. But sometimes I just press random and watch out what's happening.
