I have an odd/new issue with my ipeng on my iphone. No matter what I do as of today I simply can't connect to squeezenetwork (SN) as my server. I've been a user of the app since version 1.0. I have a Boom and SB3 mostly using SN. Until today, this has all worked perfectly. I can always see both these players on my ipeng app, whether locally on my wifi network or even when I'm away (through regular 3G).
I'm running: ipeng ver. 1.1.2 Both players have latest firmware SqueezeCenter software version is 7.3.2. PROBLEM: Without any changes to my network, my SN account, or my players I can't connect the iPeng to SN. I can login to SN on my laptop, I see everything there as expected. My two players are recognized and I can play through SN just fine and control the players. The iPeng is listed as a player in SN but does NOT show as connected. Again, the ipeng previously worked just fine in connecting to SN and would show up as a connected player. If I instead switch to my local server SqueezeCenter (SC) and change the players to SC, my iPeng can connect to SC server and I can control the players just fine. So the problem is only getting iPeng connected to SN. The server address for SN is the usual "www.squeezenetwork.com:9000" I've tried to "forget last server" and then connect to SN, but it never connects. If I have the SC server turned on, it will try the SN then move to the SC server. So something has gone wrong with SN seeing my ipeng or my ipeng seeing SN. Any thoughts on what I might try. -- garym ------------------------------------------------------------------------ garym's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=17325 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=62245 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
