Yes, you can find problems with any combination of hardware/software, but I was merely contesting your assertion that the older devices _in_general_ do not work with MySB. My SB2s, SB3, Duets, and Boom work just fine with MySB, including subscription services like Napster. I had one problem with the MySB registration for the SB3, but that was sorted out same-day with an email to support.
