Regarding the "explicit" functionality, I agree with you in theory. Unfortunately, SlimServer tag support is quite limited (at last check Title, Artist, Album, Genre) so I am not sure how one would "easily" create playlists without manually doing so... something I wouldn't be interested in investing much time in. I certainly agree a "smart" or "dynamic" playlist feature is highly desirable. It would not only eliminate any need for this as a separate feature but would allow for a simplified and varied listening experience.
