Thanks for the response and for taking an interest. The info you asked for is below. I should re-iterate, the vorbis decoder works perfectly when playing files from the beginning, but always fails when jumping to a point in the middle of a track. Perhaps by feeding it a file part-way through, it misses some vital information from the beginning?
