I tried using asio and it worked for me from a batch file for 4 players (after I put a delay between launching the exe's). ASIO4ALL popped up, I configured it and all was well. The problem with this is that it doesn't shutdown gracefully. So I tried the srvany method suggested above and in the how to I found elsewhere on the board. For some reason, ASIO4ALL doesn't load for any of the players. They all show up in squeezecenter fine, but no music. Any suggestions? This is on XPpro sp3.
