Hi, I realize that this subject might (?) have been beaten to death already, but I'm really concerned now that I found out my set-up is not acting correct when it comes to gapless playback.
I have about 2000 CDs ripped via EAC to FLAC, no CUE sheets. Playback is to Transporter, SB3, Boom, etc via SS7.5. For seamless albums like Dark Side of the Moon, there is a little break in between songs. Not a pause, but the music does not line up perfectly during the transition. I've been thinking all these years that it was normal, and since there was no "gap" per se, this *was* gapless playback. Shrug... I guess not? I'm told these transitions should be as smooth as on the original CD. Please tell me this can be corrected somehow.
