if i had to do it all over again i'd simply use a Squeezebox Boom. i do have a permanent setup in the back garden: a pair of Polk Atrium 55 that still look new after being out there for over 6 years. Use some decent cable to hook them up to a cheap Sony Amp that is in an outside cabinet, and I will connect a SB3 to the amp whenever I play music (I don't leave the SB3 outside).
