One option would be the remote for the Touch. It's more similar in size/functionality to the SB3 remote. The Touch remote, I believe does NOT have the brightness button, which I think is used to re-initialize the SB3 if required (don't remember the process). How "broken" is your SB3 remote? There is a known issue with the connection between the IR transmiter and the circuit board which can usually be repaired by re-flowing the solder connection at those locations.
