Yes the two Booms were already connected with another logical WLAN, parallel to my normal WLAN, but with a much shorter WPA-PSK. Presumably this is the reason why I did not nead any patchcable. I am very happy now, because I can use on WLAN for all my devices. And the WPA-PSK will never driving me crazy again.
