Gary (?), Thanks for the detailed response. I think I'm getting the picture into better focus now. Since the Axiom Audiobyte system is made for computers, the amplifier just has a single input jack, (analog as you surmised) so I'm thinking that is a problem? I'll try putting in a picture of the back of the Audiobyte. I'm doing a little test listening right now with the Boom sitting next to me and going back and forth between the two systems playing music encoded in .WMA (I think) format--it's whatever Windows' "lossless" format is. Audiobyte certainly sounds better--not a LOT better though. Also very subjective. If the Touch would work with this amp/speakers, it would be great. -- Porschefan ---------------------------- Stephen Porter Albuquerque, NM (new home) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Porschefan's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=39130 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=81377 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
