I agree with most of what goody said. I do fear that the Squeezebox/audiophile end of the market is a niche and that Logitech probably aren't going to invest too much time and money in this area.
The developers of this product do a great job, but I do worry that it's being really left behind by numerous competitors and it's only the loyalty of the existing community and the third party plugins which are keeping them in the game.
