I work for a (very large) company which has a presence on Amazon. Their requirements for shipping within xx hours of receipt of the order may cause some smaller shops to send ship notices to satisfy their contract with Amazon, even if only on paper. It's not a problem for us, but we do sometimes have to push Amazon orders ahead of some from our own websites.
