Well I really hope I just get the radio. A refund isn't the end of the world but I will loose a bit of faith in man if the dude doesn't come up with the goods.
I will post an update to this thread either way as (1) I wouldn't want to damn someone who may have done his bit and the postal system has let me down and (2) if he hasn't I wouldn't want anyone else being let down. The thing that unsettles me is the lack of reply from him to my attempts to contact him. I hope I am just being neurotic! It's a shame I don't know if I really have a problem as I could order elsewhere then. Still thanks for the posts. They are all helpful (including the interesting small business on Amazon angle).
