Thanks for the reply's... I don't think it's a server issue because I can plug a different SB3 into the system and all works well. What I did notice is that the digital volume control has no effect on what little sound that I can hear.... The sound is clear and not distorted at all, but I have to turn my preamp up to the 3 o'clock position befor I can hear anything where as before I only went up to about 9-10 o'clock and it was plenty loud.
