do a web search for instructions on switching the hard drive. It involves a minor hack. Not difficult. Did it once myself.
The other possibility is that your power supply is shot and it can't power the HD bootup. That can be checked by any reasonably competent tech. -- firedog GIK Acoustics Room Treatments.
