It only knows that 7.6 exists because there is something telling it that it exists. You never got messages before updating to 7.6 before the release, right? So,
1) delete everything having to do with 7.5.x and 7.6 from your system. Assuming you're still using Ubuntu, doing only "apt-get purge squeezeboxserver" may not be enough. After apt-get purging, then dig into the /var/lib/squeezeboxserver , /etc/squeezeboxserver, etc to thoroughly clean it out. 2) when you re-install SBS, turn off the automatic notification of software update before you do anything else 3) never, ever, ever connect to mysqueezebox.com. That should give you a fighting chance. -- aubuti ------------------------------------------------------------------------ aubuti's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2074 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=89152 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
