I am currently running a Linn Sneaky DS through a QNAP TS-210 NAS in one room. I've had this set up for some time & really like it, however, I have been wanting to have music downstairs too. I have recently been given a fairly basic separates system that includes a CD player (as well as amp & speakers, obviously), which I was planning on using in said different room. Budget is very limited & there is no way of getting ethernet connections down there without drilling lots of holes & my wife never speaking to me again, but I was hoping not to have to use the CD player & replace it with a streaming player that was happy taking files from my NAS drive wirelessly. The Squeezebox seems the obvious answer. So.... I was looking at the Squeezebox Duet or Squeezebox Receiver, but have a few questions that I'm hoping you can help with: -I currently run Twonkymedia on the NAS, will the Squeezebox run with this (I guess not, from what I've read, but) if not, will the Squeezebox server software work alongside Twonky happily? -I run Bubble DS on a Samsung Galaxy Tab GT-P1000, would I need to buy a Controller, or can I use apps on the tablet? -What/Which radio stations are available? & how easy are they to access? Much as I love the Linn system, internet radio isn't the most straight forward thing to access... We'd love a DAB tuner in the lounge, but internet radio makes more sense, how much can the Squeezebox pick up (& particularly, can it get TMS on Radio 4 & Radio 6...)? -Do I need to buy the Duet, or would the straight Receiver work fine with Android controllers? -Is there anything I've missed? Is there something else I should be looking at? Or another questions I should be asking? I think that's all for now... I'm moderately competent with IT, but by no means expert. Can I ask for a "for-idiots" translation to be put in with anything technical? Thanks in advance Richie
